Telecom sites are equipped with discrete equipments like Generator; PIU unit, SMPS, Battery bank, Telecom load & its distribution. These all equipments can connect to PSC 3 controller for monitoring and alarm generation. This way all the equipments can be monitored with only single controller.
PSC3 controller unit monitors the status of Grid supply (thru HPS module) Diesel generator (through HPS module or GEN module), load (through Shunt), and Power Plant (through Analog and Digital inputs) and generates the alarms and gives detail data.
These HPS module, Gen module and shunt are used for sensing & measure the parameters like Voltage, current, Frequency, Power, Energy & Hr meter of generator, load bank and power plant. The PSC 3 can be accessed from virtually anywhere, over the intranet or internet by modem. PSC 3 control unit generates alarm messages which are transmitted through GPRS and GSM.
