Outdoor Site Management Control SystemDelta OD SMCS is designed to work for outdoor application with IP 55 protection. Effectively designed Heat management system help manage the heat inside the enclosure, so as to maintain inside temperature within defined permissible limit.

Delta designed heat management systems are –48V DC operated which cab be fed by battery in case of EB supply unhealthy, whereas in AC fed cooling DG running is required to fed the cooling arrangements. SMCS condition low-quality AC utility, enhance the availability of AC, and protect equipment from voltage variations and fluctuations. The SMCS acts as an interface between the AC mains, diesel generator and power plant to maximize the utilization of AC mains and battery power, and to reduce the running costs of the diesel generator. This can be further optimized by attaching renewable power sources to the system. A cabinet-type SMCS suits various applications requiring high power and is ideal for small BTS/BSC installations. It is desiged with high efficiency components to reduce the losses and increase the efficiency. It is effectively designed with Integrated DCPS, HPS, SVR, Generator and AIRCON control and site monitoring alarm.

The SMCS includes an automatic input bypass functionality that connects rectifiers to mains power if the quality of the power supply is sufficient. Advanced generator management and monitoring features, and allowing a DC system to operate directly using AC power, are further examples of how the SMCS not only secures reliable power supply in all regions but also ensures optimal energy efficiency.

It is built with High Efficiency, high power density rectifier so as to supply the multiple telecom customer without power shortages. Reliability of the rectifier system allows to fed the AC supply dierctly, to further saves the cost on power conditioning via SVR unit.

Advanced feature of SVR bypass functionality allows to bypass the SVR section when the raw power is in the range and good quality, so as to further add on the savings..

Advanced Heat Management system in OD system is effectively designed, so as to maintain the required temperature inside the enclosure by diiferent modes of cooling (forced air cool, passive or active cooling), which is solely depends on the site ambient and geographical location or customer defined requirement.
