HOSUR- KRISHNAGIRI- DHARMAPURI, now known as the HKD Belt, was once known for its focus on automobile and heavy vehicle manufacture. Today, this belt serves the growing needs of electronics manufacturers. The Tamil Nadu government’s exclusive electronics hardware manu-facturing policy offers a wide range of incentives for com-panies investing in the state and making well-developed land available through SIPCOT. Proximity to Bangalore is one of the main ad-vantages of the location.
